    Irmã Dulce Social Works currently has 19 centers with activities in the field of Health, including hospitals, service centers and units dedicated to the areas of teaching and scientific research:

  2. How many beds are in the Irmã Dulce Social Works?

    Only in its headquarters, in the Roma Complex, are 954 hospital beds. The institution is also responsible for administering 429 beds in hospitals in the interior. Here they are:

    - West Hospital, in Barreiras: 285 beds; 

    - Eurides Sant'anna Hospital, in Santa Rita de Cássia: 24 beds; 

    - Dr. Mário Dourado Sobrinho Regional Hospital, in Irecê: 120 beds.

    The emergency service is offered on the following units:

    - West Hospital, in the municipality of Barreiras.

    - Dr. Mário Dourado Sobrinho Regional Hospital, in the municipality of Irecê. 

    The care in obstetrics is offered in the Hospital do Oeste, in Barreiras, and the Dr. Mário Dourado Sobrinho Hospital, in Irecê.

  4. Which is the visiting timetable for inpatients?

    Santo Antônio Hospital: Every day from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    UTI: Every day, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m to 5 p.m.

    Children’s Hospital: Every day, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Alcoholic Care and Treatment Center (CATA): Every day, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Augusto Lopes Pontes Medical and Social Center (CMSALP): Every day, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Geriatric Center:  Nossa Senhora de Lourdes House, every day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; São José Ward, every day, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Imaculada Conceição Ward, every day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Eurides Sant'anna Hospital: Every day, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  6. How to schedule a medical appointment or book an exam?

    For all the first outpatient clinical consultations in any medical specialty offered at the Irma Dulce Social Works you can schedule it at Health Centers or through Health Dial (160), from the Municipal Health Department. For the specialties: Medical Clinic, Otorhinolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Buco-Maxillo, Pneumology and Physiotherapy, the scheduling can be done directly at the unit.                             

    To schedule appointments at the José Sarney Ambulatory it is necessary to present your Irmã Dulce Social Works Registration Card. Documents required to make this card are: Birth Certificate or some official document with photo (Identity, Work Card, Driver's License), as well as a document proving your address and the National Health Card (SUS card).     Yes. The Clinical Research Center (CPEC) is the unit responsible for research in the Health area within the institution. Currently the unit develops research in the following areas: Cardiology; Diabetes; Gynecology and Women's Health; Infectious diseases (including HIV / AIDS); Neurology; Oncology; Pediatrics and Urology.
