Chaplaincy
The Irma Dulce Social Services Chaplaincy (OSID) works to promote pastoral work, evangelization and faith in Jesus Christ, which motivated Sister Dulce to live a life of love for God and for her brothers and sisters, especially the poor and the sick. The Chaplaincy also coordinates the activities and celebrations held in the Santo Antônio Chapel, located at the Irmã Dulce Memorial, at the OSID headquarters (Avenida Bonfim, Largo de Roma), in Salvador.
Evangelization and missionary work is carried out too in the internal units of the institution through evangelization and spiritual assistance to patients and staff through the Pastoral Care and the Spiritual Staff Assistance Group (GASEF).
For the external community, pastoral work is carried out in the Shrine and in Irma Dulce’s Square (Largo da Roma). There the example of the Christian life of the Mother of the Poor is presented through evangelization activities, feeding the faithful in the same spiritual path walked by the Good Angel of Brazil: the Eucharist and the meditation of the Word of God.
